ABADATA Community Gatherings on themes of rights of every human being to access on his fundamental basic needs in Burundi: Youth adults, women and men, professional and citizen all concerned by economy and to be ONE!

2nd, 3, 2009 morning, before knowing that the project “Buterere Community Development Centre” was approved at GiveMeaning to start fundraising, a group of Youth and adults, women and men, professional and citizen was organised a quick meeting in BUTERERE Development Centre to discuss how they can sustain programs, keep all activities ongoing even if there is problems related to the lack of financial support. Found that this problem “Lack of financial means” it is not for BCDC, but is for all other NGOs in Burundi and in Africa, and that it a concern issue for more than half of African citizen, this group of Youth and adults, women and men, intellectual and illiteracy citizen organised have agreed to hold such meetings to continue raising voice for ECONOMIC EQUALITY AND CALL EVERY HUMAN TO BE PART OF OUR FAMILY “ABADATANA / INSEPERABLE ONE FAMILY IN ONE WORLD OFOW”.

During their meeting they convened to do a practical exercise: to donate a small fund to create a small endowment fund account for keeping BCDC programs ongoing and other settings for rural programs created by ASASS-Burundi in collaboration with A BETTER COMMUNITY FOR ALL (ABC4ALL/BURUNDI) on behalf of Burundian children, women and people with disabilities without forgetting the small ethnic minorities groups. It was really a blessing and every participant on his willing was able to pay O, 7 USD to start an account. They agree to contribute monthly donation/volunteer contribution to hold philanthropy mission in Burundi levels. They agreed to continue process of networking in Burundi and work to share expertise, resources, techniques, and then plans as ONE family. They hope that in next month they will meet for further evaluation and planning and they think that a small saving and micro credit account which can start with Members of ABADATANA in Burundi would be very helpful to network and build ONE family in Burundi.

A story about “ABADATANA OFOW” started to be known in BUTERERE Community, because of a little EXERCISE done “donation of little money for humanitarian and relief services» to bring hope for children and other targeted various group of Burundian people.

Children start to sing “ABADATANA Songs and poems,” regularly visiting Buterere Community Development Centre-BCDC. Volunteers in BCDC for a program lunched in department of Children by ABC4ALL/Burundi: Trauma healing and Voluntary HIV/AIDS Counseling program which is lead by Madam Florence NTAKARUTIMANA is welcoming a better number of vulnerable children.

Afternoon (after community ABADATANA gathering), KAMWENUBUSA checked the message and found a useful message that BCDC project is now eligible to receive donations through the GiveMeaning website.
