i just need some help on how to go about the following
1. What is required for one to open a consultancy firm
2. How to draw a business plan and if possible i need a copy of any business plan

Go and understudy some top consulting firms and if possible work for FREE for them for a year or too. Remember, the more you know, the more you are paid.

Now,for you to start a consultancy firm,the most important thing is your personal ability,know-how and eloquence within your service area.It means you must have a specific issue/service you want to offer e.g Financial management,Marketing,HR,International travel extra...Additionally,review your previous results,competences and outstanding qualities in the service area,take note of your competitors and pay attention to charges and service duration.Then you can sit down and draw a business plan.
